The TECHMAC Planetary Mixer – 5 to 300 Litres is a heavy-duty, high-efficiency mixing machine designed for homogeneous mixing, blending, kneading, and processing of low- to high-viscosity products. Its planetary mixing action provides intensive and uniform mixing throughout the vessel, making it suitable for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, cosmetic, Ayurvedic, herbal, chemical, and allied industries.

The mixer is available in a wide capacity range from 5 Litres to 300 Litres and can be customized according to product viscosity, batch size, mixing time, temperature requirements, and process conditions. GMP-oriented construction, stainless-steel product-contact parts, variable-speed operation, and optional heating, cooling, and vacuum arrangements make it suitable for demanding industrial applications.

Working Principle

The TECHMAC Planetary Mixer operates on the principle of planetary movement. The mixing tool rotates around its own axis while simultaneously revolving around the central axis of the mixing vessel.

This dual movement continuously moves the material from the vessel wall toward the centre and from the bottom toward the upper mixing zone. The result is intensive and homogeneous mixing with minimum dead zones.

Different mixing tools can be selected according to the nature of the product. Paddle, beater, scraper and kneading-type blades can be supplied for different viscosity and processing requirements.

For oxygen-sensitive or moisture-sensitive products, the mixer can optionally be supplied with a vacuum mixing arrangement.
