Main Construction
- Mixing Vessel
The vessel is fabricated from high-quality stainless steel with smooth internal surfaces to facilitate cleaning and minimize product retention. SS 304, SS 316 or SS 316L can be selected depending on the product and process requirements.
The vessel can be supplied with suitable top cover, charging arrangement, product outlet, drain connection and other process connections according to the customer’s requirement.
- High-Speed Shaft
The vertically mounted shaft is designed for stable operation during high-speed dispersion. The shaft is manufactured from stainless steel for applications requiring hygienic product contact.
- Dispersing Blade
A specially designed high-speed dispersing blade provides intensive local shear and circulation around the blade area. Blade geometry and diameter can be customized according to the product characteristics and required dispersion performance.
Different blade configurations can be selected for different applications. High-speed dispersers are commonly supplied with different blade types depending on the process and product.
- Motor & Drive
The machine is equipped with a suitable three-phase motor:
- 500 Ltr. – 3 H.P.
- 1000 Ltr. – 5 H.P.
The motor can be supplied as a TEFC motor, with flameproof/explosion-proof versions available where the application requires them. Industrial high-speed dissolver manufacturers also offer VFD-compatible and explosion-proof motor arrangements for hazardous environments.
- Variable Speed Control
A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) can be provided to regulate the shaft speed according to the process requirement. This allows the operator to select an appropriate operating speed during charging, wetting, dispersion and final mixing.
- Shaft Height Adjustment
The shaft position can be adjusted to achieve the desired blade immersion and mixing zone. A mechanical height-adjustment arrangement can be provided as standard or a hydraulic lifting system can be offered as an optional configuration.

Important Technical Note
Actual working capacity, RPM, blade diameter, shaft diameter and motor rating depend on product viscosity, density, solids concentration, desired shear level and process conditions. Therefore, these parameters should be finalized against the actual product before manufacture. Published dissolver specifications demonstrate that capacity and motor requirements can vary substantially with viscosity and application.
