The machine operates using a high-speed rotor and stator grinding system that creates intense shear and controlled friction, producing a smooth and uniform product. It is suitable for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, chemical, Ayurvedic, herbal, nutraceutical and allied industries.

Working Principle

The product enters the grinding chamber through the inlet and passes between the high-speed rotating rotor and stationary stator.

The small adjustable gap between the rotor and stator creates high shear and friction. This action breaks down agglomerates, disperses particles and promotes uniformity.

The processed product is then discharged through the outlet. The grinding gap can be adjusted according to the required product consistency and degree of size reduction.

Construction Details

  1. Rotor & Stator

The heart of the machine consists of a precision-machined rotor and stator assembly. These components create the high-shear zone required for milling, dispersion and homogenization.

Rotor and stator materials can be selected according to product compatibility.

  1. Grinding Gap Adjustment

The grinding gap is adjustable to control the intensity of milling.

A finer setting generally provides greater shear and finer processing, while a larger gap can be used for products requiring less intensive treatment.

The final gap setting should always be established through product trials.

The machine is available with:

The motor is selected according to product viscosity, feed rate, grinding intensity and required throughput.
